The GameShield COM-Activator component interacts with the license project files (LPJ) you create during license development. You can create a host application using the COM-Activator to implement your own UI for generating Activation Codes or even directly integrate it directly into your own in-house CRM tools to provide a seamless single interface for your support staff. You can generate Activation Codes with the COM-Activator component easily using the interface provided. You can also use the component to validate and decode Authorization Request Codes for a specific license. To develop your own customized user interface, you simply link to the COM-Activator in your application and invoke its functionality to interact with the user. In this way you can effectively build your own version of the "off-line" Manual-Activator. You generate Activation Codes based on either Authorization Request Codes that a client sends you (with the possibility of overriding that request) or build up an Activation Code "from scratch" by passing FingerPrint data in with the function call. Never distribute the COM Activator to clients as part of your software. It is strictly for your own internal use as another way to generate Activation Codes.
