> Deploying Licensed Software > Target Operating System Considerations Target Operating System ConsiderationsIronWrapped applications may be deployed to any of the following Windows platforms: 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2000 and Server 2003. Non IronWrapped applications may be deployed to any of the following Windows platforms: 95, 98, 98SE, NT4, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2000 and Server 2003. Note that some features have subtly different behaviour on Windows 95, ME and some versions of NT. These differences are limited to slightly different types of information being reported by the FingerPrinting mechanism, as well as no Detect-Debuggers support on 95. Note that none of these minor differences will directly affect your licensing solution in any way. See FingerPrinting / Machine Locking and Tamper Resistance for more information. Windows NT, 2000, XP and especially Vista have security considerations which you must carefully consider. Please see Windows Permissions and Security Considerations.
