Consumed
Activations ConsumedActivations Consumed is a representation in the CheckPoint database of how many Activations have been used up for a particular Serial Number. The business logic of the CheckPoint License Server will not permit this number of Activations to exceed the sum of Total Activations Permitted and Overflow Activations Permitted. When an end-user machine is activated by Serial Number (either automatically or manually) through the CheckPoint License Server - an Activation is "consumed". This will increment the Activations Consumed count for the Serial Number. Once Activations Consumed reaches the sum of Total and Overflow Activations, no more activations are permitted. Activations can be Checked In, (referred to as a Serial Number Check In). When this operation successfully completes, the associated Activations Consumed count is reduced by one. The business logic of the CheckPoint License Server will not permit an Activation to be Checked-In if it had never been Activated in the first place.
